DESIGN PROCESS
A successful landscape relies on a consistent, thorough design process beginning with a site inventory and analysis. Lodgepole insists on following this process from beginning to end to ensure that our designs are built upon a full understanding of the site conditions and the desires of the client.
During this stage, the designer will visit the site to gather a list of all existing elements. These include:
-
Wind, sun and noise exposure
-
Sight lines and views (good and bad)
-
Slopes, drainage and other terrain features
-
Existing vegetation
-
Locations of utility features
It's also during this step that the client provides a list of desired features they would like to see in their finished landscape and the various uses that the space will host.
SITE INVENTORY & ANALYSIS
Once the site inventory has been performed and analyzed, a conceptual landscape plan can then be developed.
